Spaceport America Cup

International Rocketry Engineering Competition

Again, we will be iterating on our hybrid engine designs, and with more focus on our Ground Support Equipment, we havve confidence that we can reach heights not seen before by UCF. This year, our payloads system will see improvements across the board.

Satellite Ion Propulsion

In its second year, our team will be attempting a Hall Effect thruster, a type of electric propulsion more commonly used in industry.

FAR 10K

This year, after our success with our first Liquid Bi-Prop engine, we will be expanding into a multiple tank system designed to launch our entirely SRAD airframe and payload to ten thousand feet.

NASA Student Launch

This initiative is intended to create real systems for use in NASA's Artemis Vessel, where teams from across the country design a crude lunar lander to be launched in their entirely SRAD airframe.

Solid Development

This year, we will have a team focused on developing an engine whose solid fuel and oxidizer will be able to propel a rocket to the highest altitude possible.
