Arondight

Beginning in the Fall 2025 semester, KXR has been working on developing a new liquid bipropellant rocket engine, and after nearly a year of work, we have designed the Arondight rocket engine. Arondight is designed as a 1000-lbf thrust, film cooled engine using ethanol as fuel, and nitrous oxide as an oxidizer. Development has been a combined effort from many of our members, encompassing an incredibly diverse skillset, the Arondight engine is a gateway to industry level rocketry!
