Liquid Bi-Prop Rocketry

Starting in Fall 2026, KXR will start development of second liquid bipropellant rocket. This engine will be a Piston-fed bipropellant engine, similar to the engine on our first liquid rocket, Valkyrie. A successful launch of this rocket will allow us to have the knowledge and skills needed to compete in other liquid rocketry competitions in the upcoming years. The rocket will be carrying a flight computer with live telemetry capabilities to control the engine and relay live data back to the ground during flight. We plan to static fire our engine in early 2027, and will launch by mid 2027.
