Launch and Test Infrastructure (LTI)
Supporting the development of KXR and UCF's liquid propulsion projects

Our Launch and Test Infrastructure team handles the testing elements of all of our testing campaigns. We work to help test engines created both internally within KXR's teams, or externally from some of UCF's senior design teams to test their capstone projects. Our team works to create and manage several systems, including test stands, a ground support fluids system, a data acquisition system, and the control board for these engines.

Mechanical Team
The team in charge of the structural side of our testing program. This team creates and manages the horizontal and vertical test stands, and configures them for each engine we cold flow and static fire.
This year the team is also working to create a launch rail capable of handling all the forces put on it by this year's liquid bipropellant rocket, Mistral-1.

Electronics and Software
The electrical and software subteams are working together this year to make our modular DAQ, which will also act as a flight computer on Mistral-1.
The electrical team will also be working on an upgraded control panel and wiring up our new vertical test stand's data acquisition sensors.
The software team manages our controls networking and logic, data acquisition and reading, and makes all our virtual interfaces that we need for our control system.
